PLAY SONG 01 Cross Over Criminal

Cross Over Criminal (Lyrics)

By Matthew Aaron Mossotti

Come on, cross over criminal

The Son patrols your whole soul

“Listen, you wanton creature

Lounging in your security

Saying, ‘I am, and there’s none besides me.’

You have said, ‘No one sees me.’

You have trusted your wicked ways.

Saying, ‘I am, and there’s none besides me.’”

Come on, cross over criminal

The Son patrols your whole soul

“From birth you were called Rebel.

Keep on then, with your magic spells

There is not one that can save you.

In spite of all your sorcery,

Stargazing counsel, astrology,

There is not one that can save you.”

Come on, cross over criminal

The Son patrols your whole soul

You’re mind’s eye is corrupted by diseased evolutionism

Spinning, coiling, circular, serpentine logic has you hypnotized

You’re not the way!

You’re not the way!

You’re not the way!

You’re not the way!

Come on, cross over criminal

The Son patrols your whole soul

Coming For You

I interpret Isaiah 14 as the Lord throwing down some spiritual trash-talk on the Accuser (“How you have fallen from heaven O morning star, son of the dawn!”). He says to His people in the fourth verse, “You will take up this taunt to the king of Babylon.” I wrote the two verses and bridge of this song straight from Isaiah 14 and I added the chorus “It’s been a long time coming for you!”

Not Today

Looking back on a good series of bad decisions that extended over the better part of a decade of my life, I couldn’t place the darkness’s point of origin. I couldn’t recall ever making any one paramount choice to turn away from the way of Light. In fact, I always only wanted to be a force for all things good in the universe, but somehow, someway, I had deceived myself – or maybe more to the spiritual reality of the matter, I had been myself deceived. Having been saved from that dark pit by grace, I wrote this song to the demon I named “More.”

Awkward Love

Bauldelaire wrote of the Accuser in his 1864 short story, “The Generous Gambler.” He wrote, “My dear brethren, do not ever forget, when you hear the progress of lights praised, that the loveliest trick of the Devil is to persuade you that he does not exist.” The ever-subtle thought scaffolding of evolutionism (not to be confused with the biological theory of evolution that is merely a late-stage symptom of the philosophical disease of the “ism”) serves to impede many contemporary thinkers from grasping the fundamental premise of truth of existence itself – that creation proceeds from a Creator. This creature finds it quite awkward to hear otherwise sharp thinking people blatantly and unwittingly embarrassing themselves in their expounding of evolutionism into various disciplines of thought. Listening to a bright person treat the splendor of the universe as an ultimately haphazard process that proceeds from nothing particular is like talking to a stranger who has a leaf of spinach in their teeth – It’s really awkward and hard to take the person seriously.

I just had the most-amazing opportunity to track this song at the Four Seasons studio with Steve Higdon. This song is a theme song for the second episode of a trilogy of movies I’ve written, also titled, “The Love Resistance.” The Lyrics go as follows:

Love Resistance

By Matthew Aaron Mossotti

Your Thought Police are working around the clock that’s spinning backwards through time, ticking off countdown to roll over New World Disorder – Amen…

Ah-Ha! I Love… Ah-Ha! I Love…

Ah-Ha! I Love… Ah-Ha! I Love…

You look and listen in on our world without waking us up to you spying with telescreens, two-way devices; you control the whole of Party language – Amen…

Ah-Ha! I Love… Ah-Ha! I Love…

Ah-Ha! I Love… Ah-Ha! I Love…

(Newspeak): Doubleplusgood, thinkbellyfeelme, crimestopendtime, ungoodupyours…

DO YOU HEAR ME Now?!!!

Ah-Ha! I Love!!! Ah-Ha! I Love!!!

Ah-Ha! I Love!!! Ah-Ha! I Love!!!
